The Marisol Rivas Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to restoring hope, dignity, and confidence to individuals facing the physical and emotional challenges of breast cancer, lymphedema, and orthotic needs.

What began as a vision rooted in compassion has grown into a movement of healing, bringing critical medical supplies, post-mastectomy and lymphedema garments, orthotics, and educational resources to underserved communities across Latin America and the United States.

Since 2014, through medical missions, conferences, and outreach programs, we not only provide direct care, but also empower women and men with the knowledge they need to take control of their health and recovery. Over the past 11 years, our work has touched the lives of more than 2,000 individuals, and we continue to expand our reach with the support of generous donors, dedicated volunteers, and partners who believe in our cause.

At our core, we believe that care should be accessible, education should be empowering, and healing should be filled with humanity. Whether we’re fitting a compression garment, delivering supplies, or hosting a life-changing health conference—everything we do is rooted in the belief that even the smallest act of kindness can create lasting impact.

Founder & President

Marisol Rivas

Marisol is a daughter of a family characterized by its nobility, humility and simplicity. Marisol Educational background focused on health and human services. Then she continued training in Medical Emergencies and Medical Accounting. with over 20 years of experience.

She worked as a secretary in a medical equipment distribution company, where she worked her way up to a manager position for 6 years. There, she developed and obtained the skills to become independent. She is a mother of four children, and they have definitely been a boost in her development as an independent businesswoman.

Marisol studied Medical Emergencies and Medical Accounting. After that, she worked her way up to a manager position in a medical distribution company. There, she developed the skills to become independent. Her four children have been a motivation to grow as a businesswoman and philanthropist.

Vice President

Daryl Davis

Daryl Davis is a former U.S. Marine, test pilot, and medevac pilot with a lifelong commitment to service and precision. He currently serves as a Captain for Frontier Airlines, flying both the Airbus A320 and A321 on domestic and international routes.

Having lived extensively across Latin America, Asia, and Europe, Daryl brings a global perspective and deep appreciation for the opportunities and freedoms offered in the United States. His diverse experiences have fueled his passion for giving back in meaningful ways.

Through the Marisol Rivas Foundation, Daryl is dedicated to creating real impact in the lives of society’s most vulnerable. He is proud to serve alongside Marisol Rivas, whom he is engaged to, inspired by, and deeply in love with.

Operations Manager

Krystal Feliz

Krystal is a medical doctor from the Dominican Republic, currently completing the necessary steps to obtain her medical license in the United States. Passionate about patient care, she works part-time at Faith Fitter Store as a certified lymphedema garment fitter—a role that sparked her decision to specialize in lymphedema treatment.

Her interests extend beyond the clinic, with a love for reading, nature walks, and discovering new cuisines. Deeply aligned with the mission of the Marisol Rivas Foundation, Krystal is committed to helping it grow into a global force for good, reaching and healing underserved communities around the world.

Content Strategist

Vivian Garcia

Vivian has extensive experience in advertising and has worked for the World Health Organization (WHO) as a marketing director. She later created her own consulting firm. She supports our organization with writing, edition and promotion through multiple platforms.

Vivian is compromised with the Marisol Rivas foundation cause and extending the message and need to reach those who need our services in vulnerable communities.

Medical Missions Liaison

Deyanira Pena

Deyanira Peña is a proud collaborator with The Marisol Rivas Foundation and a passionate businesswoman dedicated to making a meaningful impact. A woman of strong faith and a devoted mother of two, she brings compassion, integrity, and purpose to every project she undertakes.

With over fifteen years of experience in the medical field, Deyanira has become a trusted leader in her community.

As the founder and CEO of Ubersticks Medical Laboratory, she continues to deliver innovative healthcare solutions for patients and professionals alike. Inspired by the mission and vision of The Marisol Rivas Foundation, Deyanira has expressed her sincere interest in deepening her role as a Liaison, contributing her expertise, leadership, and heart for service to support and expand the foundation’s life-changing work.

Development Manager

Juan Ramon Diaz

With over 15 years of experience, Juan specializes in marketing strategy, brand development, and project management for mission-driven organizations and entrepreneurs. He helps brands clarify their message, elevate their identity, and design impactful campaigns that connect with diverse audiences. He is also the Founder and CEO of Welkom Media Group LLC, where he leads creative direction and strategic execution.

His background also includes work in international development, where he contributed to youth and community programs with organizations like UNFPA, USAID, UNHCR, TECHO, and Children International.

Originally from the Dominican Republic and now based in New York, Juan brings a global perspective to every project, having led multicultural teams across the U.S., Latin America, Asia, and Africa. He is known for his strategic thinking, creative leadership, and passion for translating bold ideas into real-world results.

Cristela Figuereo

Cristela Figuereo is a dedicated and compassionate member of The Marisol Rivas Foundation, committed to supporting women as they navigate the physical and emotional challenges of breast cancer. With empathy at the core of her work, Cristela provides encouragement, connection, and care—offering a steady presence along the path to healing and recovery.

She brings extensive experience as a Client Liaison, having worked with respected organizations such as Scotiabank and CLG Media Group, where she developed strong skills in communication, relationship-building, and community engagement.

Cristela’s role in the foundation is more than just service—it’s a personal mission. She believes that true impact begins with compassion and action, and she is devoted to helping uplift women and families across Latin America. Through her unwavering commitment, Cristela plays a vital role in advancing the foundation’s mission: to restore hope, dignity, and confidence to every woman we serve.

Field Operations Coordinator

Rossanna Perdomo

Based in the Dominican Republic, Rossanna Perdomo is a dedicated and active member of The Marisol Rivas Foundation. Her unwavering commitment to supporting women affected by breast cancer and lymphedema is reflected in her hands-on involvement in medical missions across Latin America.

Through these missions, Rossanna helps provide external breast prostheses, mastectomy bras, and lymphedema garments to survivors and patients in need—restoring dignity, comfort, and confidence to women during some of the most challenging times of their lives.

A passionate advocate for healing and empowerment, she offers both emotional and physical support with compassion and grace. Rossanna’s work is essential to expanding the foundation’s impact and reaching communities that need it most.

Fanny Peralta

Fanny Peralta is a seasoned banking professional currently serving as a Branch Manager at Provident Bank, where she is recognized for her integrity, leadership, and unwavering commitment to both client success and community development. With a distinguished career spanning over 25 years, she brings extensive financial expertise and strategic insight to her role on the board of The Marisol Rivas Foundation.

Fanny’s dedication to service extends beyond her professional achievements. She is a passionate runner, a devoted yoga practitioner, and an avid reader—practices that reflect her belief in discipline, mindfulness, and lifelong learning. Above all, she values time spent with her family, which grounds her in the principles of compassion, resilience, and connection.

Oncology Education and Program Lead

Letizia Dolores Acosta Castillo

Letizia Dolores Acosta Castillo is a distinguished healthcare professional currently serving as the Clinical Laboratory Manager at INCART (National Cancer Institute Rosa Emilia Sánchez Pérez de Tavares), a leading center for oncology care. She focuses on improving diagnostic processes and ensuring the quality and accuracy of laboratory results to support cancer treatment.

Letizia is also a Biochemistry professor at UNPHU (Universidad Nacional Pedro Henríquez Ureña), In the Dominican Republic. where she is dedicated to educating future medical professionals. In addition to her clinical and academic work, she is a certified dietitian and strong advocate for healthy living.

Her passion lies in breast cancer prevention and awareness, which she actively promotes through her collaboration with the Marisol Rivas Foundation. Through education, outreach, and access to resources, Letizia helps empower vulnerable women and advance the foundation’s mission of improving health outcomes in underserved communities.
